Application for all pre-State audio and text play-by-play transmissions, complete with station manager/director consent and fees should be submitted to the tournament host/site before the respective game being transmitted. The WIAA reserves the right to require two minutes of advertising or promotional inventory to be included in any or all transmissions of WIAA Tournament Series events as determined by the WIAA. Media outlets must contact and make all arrangements for transmitting with the tournament manager prior to the event, and outlets must make arrangements with tournament host in advance to pay the transmission rights fee. Print a copy of this completed form and submit to host school, and then hit the submit button below to submit to the WIAA office. This media outlet agrees to abide by all WIAA regulations regarding the audio and/or text play-by-play transmission of WIAA Tournament Series events to include advertising and sponsorships. We agree to prohibit the advertising of tobacco, lottery, alcoholic beverages or related products, or businesses whose primary purpose is the sale of those products during the transmission of a WIAA Tournament event to include the pre-game and post-game of the actual transmission. We also take full responsibility for the professional conduct of the reporters or announcers employed or contracted by our company to transmit at a WIAA Tournament event.
